John E. Snyder

John E. Snyder 87, of Bedford, died Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home.  He was born on July 29, 1932 in Chambersburg a son of the late Edward B. and Mary S. (Sites) Snyder.  On August 15, 1955 in Hagerstown he married Marilyn (Warren) Snyder who survives along with a daughter, Deborah Elmy widow of Jack, of Waynesboro; four grandchildren: David and Gregory Meyers, Tim and Sarah Elmy; seven great-grandchildren: Madison, Melia, and Eve Meyers, Breanna Cooke, Luna Meyers, Marrisa and Maria Chanhpheng; one great-great-grandson Elijah; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a brother, William Snyder; and two sisters: Marybelle Grimm and Mildred Ritter.

John worked as a salesman selling encyclopedias, insurance, and vehicles.
