John A. Riley

John Albert Riley, 75, formally of Bedford,PA, died April 30, 2010 peacefully at home, Tacoma, Washington.
He was born on November 22, 1934 at home in Bedford, PA to the late James A. and Ruth I. (Hoppengardner) Riley.
He was first married to the late Ethel Mae (Steach) Riley who preceded in death in 1964. He then married Hyon (Cha Pak) Riley in 1974.
He is survived by the following family: Daughter, Glenda (Riley) married to Charles A. Rightnour, Sr,, Everett, PA. Brother, Joe Aaron Riley, Bedford, PA and Brother, Paul R. Riley, Bedford, PA. Granddaughter, Alicia M. Rightnour, Everett, PA, Grandson, Ricky L, Zelanko, married to Melissa (Furda), Bedford, PA, and a neice, Marlena A. Riley, Bedford, PA.
He is preceded in death by brother, James Allen Riley and David L. Riley, Sister-In-Law, Carol Riley, and nephew, David L. Riley Jr. and a sister, at birth.
John attended Bedford High School and was previously employed at The Bedford Gazette and Hedstrom. In the 1950's John joined The National Guard and The United States Army, doing tours in Korea and Germany. He retired in 1987 from The United States Army.
He enjoyed bowling at Chalybeate, he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he enjoyed going to hockey games, and dirt track racing, following Gerald Chamberlain Racing.
