John R. Mcnoldy

John R. McNoldy 61 of Robin Lane, Everett, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh.  He was born March 31, 1947 in Bedford, son of the late Emory B. and Daisy P. (Milburn) McNoldy.  He was formerly married to Sarah Griffith of Pennknoll Village and is survived by his wife Christine and daughter Ashley P. McNoldy of Everett, five step-children: Dwayne Spicer Jr. and wife Sandy,  Jeffrey Spicer and wife Kelly both of New Paris, Beverly Conrath of Schellsburg, Jamie Spicer of New Paris, Todd Griffith of Lancaster, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

John was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Everett and was retired from Penn Dot in Hollidaysburg after 32 years.  He was a member and president of the Bloody Run Car Club, member of the Board of Directors for the National Railroad Historical Society, Western Maryland Chapter, member and former president of the Bloody Run Historical Society.  He enjoyed his antique cars, his model railroad and riding his motorcycles.  He was a loving father and husband.

Funeral services: Friday 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford, with Father Norman Imgrund  officiating.  Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park.  Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
