John D. Kane

John D. Kane, 64, of Bedford, died on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at his residence.  He was born on July 6, 1953, in Somerville, NJ, a son of the late Frederick C. and Elizabeth (Kline) Kane. On August 5, 2011, in Everett, he married Jackie (Voss) Kane who survives along with the following family: three daughters, Anne Kane-Raparelli and husband Ray, of Palm City, FL, Jennifer Kane Solley and husband Josh, of Deerfield, FL, and Katie Kane of Port St. Lucie, FL; two grandchildren, Emily and Jacob Solley; and a brother, Timothy Kane and wife Marion, of Fernandina Beach, FL.  He was preceded in death by a brother Fred Kane widow Sharon surviving of Weatherly.

John worked in car restoration specializing in Pontiacs. He started his business in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and then moved his business to Centerville where he and his wife continued to restore cars until his retirement.  John enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and diving for lobsters with his family.

Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  Friends will be invited to share their memories at John and Jackie’s house in Bedford, on Friday, November 3, 2017, at 5:00 p.m.  Arrangements by the Timothy A.
