John Alfred Glass, 81, of Laurel Crest Manor Edensburg, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at the home. He was born on May 13, 1923 in Cresson, A son of the late Fidelis A. and the late Dorothy (Weiland) Glass. He is survived by the following brothers Howard Glass m/f Louise Wolf of Sharon, Father Gerald Glass of Phoenix, Az,, Jim Glass m/f Bernice Cannonie of Ebensburg, Albert Glass and wife Catherine of Williamstown, NJ, Audrey Glass of Ebensburg, Milton Hauck wife Doris of Northeast, 1 sister Rose widow of Jay Denison of Three Springs. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Homer, Donald, Adrian Glass, & Raymond Hauck. Mr. Glass worked in the Kitchen at the Bedford Springs Hotel.
Funeral Services on Monday, August 2, 2004, at 10:00 AM from the Mount Aloysius Catholic Church in Cresson, with the Monsenior John Little officiating, Burial in Mount Aloysius Catholic Cemetery. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford.
