John "Jack" Drenning

John "Jack" E. Drenning, 64, of Bedford, died on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 14, 1956, in Cumberland, MD a son of the late John and Ruth (Dietz) Drenning. On September 14, 2000, in Bedford, he married Jill (Heckman) Drenning who survives along with three brothers: Barry Dietz and companion Jackie of Friedens; Larry Dietz of Berlin; Max Drenning and wife Joy of New Bloomfield; and a very special niece Jennifer Marian of Arlington, VA.

Jack graduated from Bedford High School class of 1974. He worked for Bedford Oil Company for 37 years and then for AC&T Oil Company in Hagerstown where he was involved in dispatch and projections.  His hobbies included his New Enterprise fantasy football and baseball leagues.  He also watched NASCAR, Penn State Football and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
