Joe A. Mcdaniel

Joe A. McDaniel of Bedford is absent from the body and at home with the Lord, Tuesday, April 18, 2017.  2 Corinthians 5:6-8.  Joe was born October 9, 1937 in Everett, a son of late Oliver R. McDaniel and Phyllis Reba (Riley) McDaniel.  He has been married for 53 years to Sandra K. (Miller) McDaniel who survives along with three sons: Tony McDaniel and partner Lori Sexton of North Carolina along with grandchildren Samantha and Cassandra; Joe A. McDaniel II of Bedford along with grandchildren: Shana, Seana, and Erin, and great-grandchild: Asa. Kenneth McDaniel and wife Kelly of Bedford and grandchildren: Corey, Kevin, Keith, and Kirsten.  Two surviving sisters: Joanne, wife of Robert Howsare of Bedford and Doris, wife of Dan Cook of Georgia: along with many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by four brothers: O. Lee, Roy, and Thomas McDaniel and infant brother, Kenneth.

Joe was a member of the body of Christ (Romans 12:25) and enjoyed fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ and along with precious times spent with family and lifelong friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Kenneth McDaniel officiating.  Burial at Union Memorial Cemetery, in Mench.  Friends will be received on Friday, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday.  Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com
