Joan Y. Jezeskie

Joan Y. Jezeskie, 73, of Honesdale Road, Alum Bank, died Friday, January 2, 2015, at her residence.  She was born on May 28, 1941, in Johnstown, a daughter of the late Russell and Leona (Kause) Border. She married John R. Jezeskie, who preceded her in death on February 19, 2010, after 33 years of marriage.  She is survived by the following family: daughter, Junita Wilson, of Alum Bank, son, Charles “Yogi” Logsdon, and wife Deb, of Schellsburg, son, Daniel Crawford, and wife Tammy, of Alum Bank, son, Joe Crawford, and wife Kim, of Alum Bank, son, Jack Crawford, of Alum Bank, and daughter, Kathy Henderson, and husband Jeremy, of Alum Bank; 16 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren; and three brothers: Ronald Border, Donald Border, and wife Kay, and Richard Border and wife Deb, all of Bedford.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Logsdon, two grandsons: Daniel Crawford Jr., and Matthew John Logsdon, a great-granddaughter, Danielle; and three sisters: Audrey Krise, Junita Camberchie, and Lorraine Batzel.

Mrs. Jezeskie enjoyed gambling, playing cards, fishing, camping, crocheting, and going to yard sales.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.  Burial at Pleasantville Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Monday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.  Our online guestbook is available at www.berekbilefuneralhome.com
