Joan Erb

Joan Erb 68 of Main Road, Bedford, died Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at her residence. She was born September 17, 1940 in Norristown, daughter of the late Carl and Mary Ellen (O’Malley) DuFay. On January 19, 1957 in Kulpsville, she married Robert L. Erb and he survives along with a son Robert L. Erb Jr. and two daughters, Kimberly wife of Peter Lewis or Bentley Creek and Felicia wife of Dylan Brown of Stony Point, NC, 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are five sisters: Irene wife of Robert Peddigree of Westfield, Carolyn wife of Kenneth Mayall of North Wales, Madeline Cummings of Tylersport, Nancy wife of John Williams of Horsham and Theresa Mokross of Warminster. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Frances and Mary Ellen DuFay.
Mrs. Erb was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Friends Cove where she taught Sunday School. She loved gardening and quilting.
Memorial services: Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. from the Trinity United Church of Christ with Rev. Paul Claycomb officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford. Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
