Joan Diehl 67 of Spring Lane, Everett, Pa. Died Friday August 24, 2001 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home. She was born October 14, 1933 in Napier Township a daughter to Harold and Virginia (Griffith) Hinson. On September 10, 1954 in Winchester, Va. she married Guy Diehl who survives along with both her parents, 2 sons Michael E. Diehl married to the former Sharon Mock of Bedford, Pa., and Joel L. Diehl married to the former Janice Strait of Manns Choice, Pa. 3 grandchildren, 2 brothers Robert Hinson husband of Nancy of Bedford, Pa., Joseph Hinson husband of Roberta of Bedford, Pa., and 1 sister Jean wife of James Bollman of Everett, Pa.
Mrs. Diehl was a graduate of Bedford High School Class of 1952, and a member of the Bald Hill Lutheran Church. She retired from Hedstrom as a chain cutter and prior to that worked at Lyns Manufacturing in Everett.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday August 28, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with the Rev. Karen Wright officiating. Burial at the Everett Cemetery . Friends can be received Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Funeral Home.
