Jerry R. Walker

Jerry R. Walker, 76, of Bedford, died on Friday, April 24, 2026 at his residence. He was born on November 9, 1949 in De Soto, MO, a son of the late Hubert J. and Margaret Jean (Pope) Walker. On September 3, 1985 in Six Mile Run, he married Mary Agnus (Cornell) Walker and she preceded him in death on February 3, 2024. He is survived by a daughter: Laura Griffie and husband Everett Jr. of Hyndman; two sons: Francis Walker and wife Crystal and Sky Walker and wife Jen, both of Pittsburgh; ten grandchildren: Shanna Tew and husband Samuel, Stanley Grabill III, Nicole Gamache, Ashley Maupin and husband Harley, Raven, Sage, Charlotte, Gabriel, Leslie, and Bailey; ten great-grandchildren: Storm, Mia, Gabrielle, Tucker, Mattie, Briar, Mitch, Kadyn, Elliot, and Astrid; two sisters: Connie Thomas and husband Gary and Karen Spooner, both of Montier, MO; a brother: Keith Walker of Reno, NV; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Walker.

Jerry worked in the restaurant industry for many years until his retirement.
