Jeffrey T. Turner

Jeffrey Thomas Turner, 57, of North Juliana Street, Bedford, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 19, 1956, in Roaring Spring, PA, a son of Jesse G. Brallier of Marietta, and raised by his mother Cleda (Winck) Turner, of Bedford, and his late father Gene Turner. On August 19, 1983, in Cumberland, MD, he married Linda (Davis) Turner who survives along with the following family: a son, Branden S. Davis married to the former Lachele Perkins of Bedford, two grandchildren:  Kira, and Kian of Bedford, five brothers: Mark Turner, and wife Michelle, Kevin Turner, and wife Jamie, both of Bedford, Dennis Brallier of Everett, Eric Brallier, of Willow Street, Scott Brallier, of Columbia, and a sister, Lori Oberholtzer of Marietta.

Mr. Turner was a 1974 graduate of Bedford High School, and was affiliated with the Bedford Christian & Missionary Alliance Church.  He was a talented musician and enjoyed playing guitar with local bands in the 70’s and 80’s.  He was a self-employed computer programmer, recorded his own music, and was a jack of all trades.  He was very spiritual, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. Steven Egbert officiating.  Burial at Jenners Cross Roads Cemetery, in Boswell.   Friends will be received on Thursday, from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
