Jeffrey B. Meyers

Jeffrey B. Meyers, 64, of Mallard Drive, Bedford, died, Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Windber Hospital Pallative Care Unit. He was born, September 5, 1944 in Merced, CA,  son of the late Harold B. and Grace (Myers) Meyers.  On September 18, 1971 in Nazareth, he married Linda M. Brior and she survives along with a sister Adele wife of Stan Dodds of Chapman, KS, a niece Stacy Bateman also of Chapman and a nephew Trent Dodds of Lowell, MI. and three great nieces and one great nephew.  He was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Friends Cove.  He retired as a Staff Sergeant in the Medical Corp after 22 years in the Army.  He also worked other various jobs in Bedford.  He was a loving husband and a kind and generous man, who will be greatly missed.

Memorial Services: Friday May 22, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev. Paul Claycomb officiating. Burial at Trinity UCC Church Cemetery with full military rites conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.  Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.  Our online guest book is available at wwwberkebilefuneralhome.com.
