Jeanne M. Phillips

Jeanne M. Phillips, 90, of Everett, died on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Victoria House at Homewood at Spring House Estates. She was born on October 29, 1935 in Bedford, a daughter of the late Clarence A. and Bernadette E. (Leonard) Imgrund. In April of 1954 in Bedford, she married her first husband Donald Ray Ritchey and he preceded her in death on June 21, 1985. She then married her second husband Frank R. Phillips and he preceded her in death in 2000. She is survived by the following family: a daughter: Theresa Christopher and husband Samuel of Frederickstown, OH; a daughter: Donna Smith of Sharpsburg, MD; a son: Edward Ritchey and wife Deborah of Clayton, NC; a son: Daniel Ritchey and wife Caroline of Greencastle; a daughter: Mary Keenen and husband Michael of New Paris; a daughter: Linda Underdah and husband James of East Falmouth, MA; a son: Thomas Ritchey and wife Melissa of Fleetwood; a son: Kenneth Ritchey and wife Cindy of Everett; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Margaret Wilson and Rita Vislosky; and three brothers: Joseph, Francis, and James Imgrund.

Jeanne worked as a hostess at the Landmark Restaurant in Bedford for many years. In her free time, she would volunteer at both Donahue Manor and Pennknoll Village. She was a member at St. Thomas Catholic Church and participated in the Choir and the Ladies Guild.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford, with Father Richard Tomkosky Celebrant. Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park. Friends will be received on Monday from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford.
