Jean E. Weiss

Jean E. Weiss, 75, of Donahoe Manor Road, went to be with her lord on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.  She was born on August 4, 1933, in Allentown, a daughter, of the late Kermit and Nora (Weil) Buchman.  In Walnutport she married Paul Weiss Jr., that ended a marriage of 55 years. She is survived by her husband Paul Weiss Jr., a daughter, Sharon Garrett, of Manns Choice, a daughter, Debra, wife of Robert Alejnikov, of Downingtown, a son, Paul Weiss III, of Bedford, a son, Clinton Weiss and wife Patty, of Portage, a daughter, Carolyn Rosage, of Bedford, five grandchildren:  Robert Jr., Christin, Cindy, Sandy and Megan, two great grandchildren:  Cuyler and Sarah, a sister, Larue Peters, of Allentown, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by two brothers Elwood and Alton Buchman.

Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmom and great grandmom. She worked at the Bedford Springs Hotel for many years and was known for her delicious whiskey cakes and peanut butter pies.  She will be sadley missed by all who knew her including all her bingo buddies at the CB Club.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with the Rev.
