Jane (Mcknight) Burkett

Jane Burkett, 91, of Manns Choice, died on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at her residence. She was born on March 22, 1934 in Wood, a daughter of the late William and Agnes (Mitchell) McKnight. On July 29, 1957 in Winchester, VA, she married Clyde L. Burkett and he preceded her in death on November 25, 2020. She is survived by a daughter Carol Dodson and husband David of Manns Choice; two sons, Dana Burkett and wife Edna of Alum Bank, and Chad Burkett and wife Alicia of Breezewood; and seven grandchildren: Breanna and fiancé Zack, Britney, Elijah, Issiah, Madeline and fiancé Corey, Emily, and Jacob. She was preceded in death by an infant son and a brother, Dean McKnight.

Jane worked as a waitress at the Bedford Springs.
