James B. "Jim" Beemiller Jr.

James B. “Jim” Beemiller Jr. 71, of Bedford, died Monday, December 10, 2018.  He was born on September 4, 1947 in Bedford a son of James B. “Bernie” Beemiller Sr., surviving of Everett, and the late Vera C. (Creighton) Beemiller.  He is survived by a son Chad R. Beemiller and wife Cindy, of Shirley, NY; two grandchildren: Zoey and Logan Beemiller; a sister, Bonnie Speece, of Palm City, FL; a brother John L. Beemiller, of wife Carla, of Bedford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim was a 1965 graduate of Bedford High School and graduated in 1969 with a Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State University.  He then graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Law School where he obtained his Juris Doctor Degree.  He was employed by Thomas Chevrolet until his retirement.  Jim’s favorite activity was fishing and he loved reading about the Civil War.  He visited Gettysburg at least once a year.  Jim will be greatly missed.
