James J. Jeffreys

James J. "Jeff" Jeffreys, 76, of Camp Hill, formerly of Bedford died on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at his residence. He was born on September 23, 1934, in Johnstown, a son, of the late G.V. and Ruth (Tate) Jeffreys Sr. He is survived his former wife Margaret Shields Jeffreys of Hollidaysburg, two daughters, Ann J. Corle and husband  Perry of Hollidaysburg,  Carol R. Scott and husband Robert of Huntingdon, two granddaughters, Jennifer and Kelly Scott both Huntingdon and a brother, Gilbert V.  Jeffreys Jr. and wife Carol, of Mouth of Wilson, VA.   He retired in 1998 after working in insurance, sales and claims.  He was a member of Knights of Columbus, and  B.P.O. Elks.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.  Burial at St James Lutheran Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
