James R. Fels

James R. Fels, 43 of Bedford, died Tuesday December 20, 2016. He was born on March 9, 1973 in West Sayville, NY a son of the late James E. Fels, and Sylvia (Puente) Fels, who resides in Palm Bay, FL. He is also survived by a maternal grandmother Catalina Puente of Palm Bay, FL, an aunt, Yvonne Puente, of New York, cousins, Tara Syrett and husband Andrew of Farmingdale, NY, and Yvette Hermann and husband Erik of Des Moines, IA, and many friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Curt Fels, and a sister Dawn Mitchell.
James was a personal trainer and instructor and taught classes at ProCare, Sports Plex, and at Juice Fitness Bar. He also did personal training outside of the gym, and enjoyed doing charity events for Toys for Tots. James provided motivation and inspiration to many people, and was proud to be awarded personal trainer of the year two years in a row. He enjoyed photography, collecting baseball cards, and being outdoors.
