James E. Fyfe

March 26, 1917 — April 14, 2001

James E. Fyfe 84 of  Fyfe Lane, New Paris died Saturday April 14, 2001 at Donahoe Manor.   He was born March 26, 1917 in South Fork,  son of the late James and Dorothy (Cummings) Fyfe.  On December 12, 1936 in Cumberland Md. he married Dorothy Nancollas and she survives along with the following Children:  D. Jean wife of Herbert J. Lehman of  New Paris, William J. married to the former Nancy J. Lehman of Bedford, Donald H. married to the former Marjorie Weyant of New Paris, James E. Fyfe Jr. of New Paris, Robert P. married to the former Donna Graham of New Paris, 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and 1 sister Betty McGowen of Johnstown.  He was preceded in death by 1 sister Evelyn Owens.

Mr. Fyfe was a former member of the Cessna Sportsman’s Club.  He was affiliated with the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church.  He worked as a Coal Miner and as a Pennsylvania Railroader.

Funeral Services:  Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. from the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with the Rev. Charles Rhodes officiating.  Burial at the Bedford County Memorial Park.  Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
