James R. Conway Jr.

James “Rick” Conway, 74, of Bedford, PA, passed away on October 17, 2025. Born in Wayne, PA, to parents James R. Conway Sr. and Gertrude (nee Friedhofer). Preceded in death by his parents, beloved sister Dorothy Hallman, brother-in-law & fishing buddy, Oliver Gambrell.

Rick is survived by his wife Michelle, their sons Dustin Winters (Shannon), Zachary Winters and grandchildren Landon, Delaney and Leila Rose. His nephew Sam Hallman, mother-in-law Andrea Nevitt, sister-in-law Leslie Gambrell and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Rick was known by family and friends as gentle and kind, with a dry wit and easy smile. His career was nature based, as an Arborist, and Estate Manager. He enjoyed life through his love of family, nature and music. Pursuing numerous interests including camping, hiking, fishing, playing guitar, stargazing, and a lifelong passion for professional boxing.

His legacy is one of compassion and kindness, while he will be missed, his legacy will carry on in our hearts.
