Jacqueline Pensyl, 60, of Imlertown Road, Bedford, died Monday, May 27, 2013 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, in Pittsburgh. She was born on May 20, 1953, in Windber, a daughter of the late Warren and Shirley (College) Carson. On April 3, 1976, in Bedford, she married Charles S. Pensyl Sr., who survives along with the following family: a son Charles "Chuck" Pensyl Jr. married to the former Amy Weimer, of Bedford, two daughters: Robin and husband John Hogenmiller, and Vicki and husband Michael L. Clapper all of Bedford; two grandchildren: Isaiah and Lance; four brothers: Robert "Wayne" Carson and wife Jean of Pooler, GA, Rodney Carson and wife Barbara of Manassas, VA, Richard Carson and wife Elizabeth of Hanover, Russell Carson and wife Wendy of Freedom, and a sister Diane and husband Brian Beegle of Bedford; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law Milton L. and Geraldine Pensyl.
Jacqueline was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, and retired from M&T Bank after 36 1/2 years as a customer service representative. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. Raymond E. Short officiating.
