Irma L. (Ickes) Bowser

Irma L. Bowser 76, of Osterburg, died Saturday, June 1, 2024 at her residence.  She was born on February 1, 1948 in Osterburg a daughter of the late Chester and Dora (Black) Ickes.  On August 16, 1973 in Winchester, VA she married Glenn Bowser, who survives along with a son Corey Bowser and wife Jody, of Schellsburg; and two sisters: Patty Lohr, of Jacksonville, FL, and Janet Ritchey, of Osterburg.  She was preceded in death by a brother Larry Ickes, and an infant brother Gary.

Irma was a teller for Central Bank of Clayburg, now First Commonwealth, and retired as manager after 40 years.  She was a member of Trinity Reformed Church in Osterburg.  Irma was a avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan, and enjoyed music, crafts, and crossword puzzles.
