Irene R. Terpening, 85, of Bedford, died Friday, October 20, 2006. She was born on December 10, 1920 in Pulaski, VA. A Daughter of the late Charles and Laura (Vincent) Richardson. She is survived by her husband, Edward Terpening, whom she married on On December 24, 1941 in Pulaski, VA. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Thelma Nelms, Blanche Thompson, Marie Carrico, and one brother Beaugard Richardson.
She was a member of the Bedford Trinity Lutheran Church, in Bedford, the Bedford County Garden Club, D.A. R., Colonial Dames of the XVII Century. Bedford American Legion Aux, and the Pioneer Historical Society.
Funeral Services, Monday, October 23, 2006, at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with the Pastor Raymond E. Short officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received on Sunday from 7-9 PM, at the funeral home.
