Irene E. Diehl

Irene E. Diehl, 93 of Yellow Road, Bedford, died Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Rebecca’s Personal Care Home in Everett.  She was born April 13, 1917 in Adams County, daughter of the late William and Elsie (Bair) Sinner.  On November 30, 1939 at the Red Run Church in East Berlin, PA, she married Fred Diehl and he preceded her in death on April 18, 2005.  She is survived by two daughters; Phyllis J. widow of Louis Hagmaier of Williamsburg, VA, and Beverly wife of R. Max Weaverling of Bedford, six grandchildren, Craig, Todd, Aaron, Angel, Jill Hagmaier and Lacy Weaverling, three step-grandchildren; Kevin, Kim and Keith, three great grandchildren, seven step-great grandchildren and two great great granddaughters.  Also surviving is a brother Carl Sinner and wife Evelyn of Mt. Joy. She was preceded in death by a son Larry, Infant daughter Linda, two sisters; Catherine Leathery, and Helen Sinner and two infant brothers.

Mrs. Diehl was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ of Friends Cove, and a member of the Ladies Aid of the Church and a former member of the Hospital Aux.

Funeral Services: Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from Trinity United Church of Christ in Friends Cove, with Rev. Bruce Ashlock officiating.  Burial in the Church Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Timothy A.
