Helen L. Snee

Helen L. Snee, 98, of Mallard Drive, Bedford, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at her residence.  She was born on July 4, 1911, in Swissvale, a daughter, of the late Adam and Susanna (Stefango) Veith.  In December of 1930, she married William H. Snee Sr., and he preceded her in death on May 7, 1990.  She is survived by two sons; William H. Snee Jr. and wife Barbara of Coatesville, David J. Snee and wife Barbara of Spring Grove, a daughter, Linda Hargnett widow of Rollis of Bedford, six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers Henry and Herman, and two sisters Emma and Sue.

She was a member of Bedford United Methodist Church, and retired as a clerk from Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh.  She enjoyed square and round dancing, the Friendship Village Social Club and quilting.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010, at 2:30 p.m., in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford with the Rev.
