Helen A. Covalt

Helen A.  Covalt, 91, of  Davidsville, formerly of Bedford, died Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at Laurel View Village.  She was born on June 26, 1914 in Clearville,  A Daughter of the late Wilmer and Pearl (Grubb) Conlon. On December 12, 1934 in Bedford, She married William D. Covalt   who preceded her in death on December 17, 1990.  She is survived by a son, Fred married to the former Lou Ann Barnett of Stone Mountain, GA, a daughter, Sandra wife of Rev. Nelson F. Ilgenfritz of Johnstown, 4 grandchildren:  Kathianne, Kristina, Beth, & Stephen, 3 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a brother:  Lloyd Conlon and a sister Sara Mae Jay.

She was a member and Sunday School teacher at the Trinity Lutheran Church, in Bedford, a member of Bedford Springs Chapter #41 Order of Eastern Star, volunteered with RSVP, the Hospital and Pennknoll Village, she was also a graduate of Bedford High School Class of 1932.

Funeral Services Saturday, November 26, 2005, at 11:00 AM from the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bedford, with the Rev. Thomas Ekstrand and Rev. Wes Yoder officiating.  Burial in Bedford Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at the Timothy A.
