Heather Sue Miller

Heather Sue Miller, 11, of Osterburg, earned her angel wings on Friday, January 29, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born July 2, 1998 in Altoona , daughter of Donald “Meach” and Wendy Sue (Wissinger) Miller of Osterburg.  Along with her parents she is survived by her sister; Hannah Dawn,12, and grandparents; Vernon and Shirley Miller of Osterburg and Don and Monica Wissinger of Richland, her great grandparents; Ben Wissinger of Richland and Helen Pallo of Windber, and numerous amazing  Aunts, Uncles and special cousins who she loved to play with..

Heather was a sixth grade student at Chestnut Ridge Middle School.  She had a love for playing softball,basketball and throwing the football.  She was a member of the Mt. Union Methodist Church in Lovely.  She enjoyed watching her Steelers, hunting with her Dad, 4-wheeling and loved to show her affection by aggravating her sister Hannah. She loved frogs,the color green and fought her battle from start to finish Fully Relying on God (FROG). Heather's amazing smile and courageous spirit has won the hearts of so many wonderful friends who have supported her since her diagnosis.

Funeral Services: Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Heartland Hall with Rev. John Virgin and Rev. Chuck Jack officiating.  Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park .  Friends will be received on Monday from 2 - 8 p.m., at Heartland Hall and on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at Heartland Hall.  Arrangements by Timothy A.
