Harvey R. Smith

Harvey R. Smith, 88, of Osterburg, died on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at his residence. He was born on April 24, 1938 in Doylestown, a son of the late Robert W. and Bertha (Smith) Smith. On August 15, 1958 in Dutch Neck, NJ, he married Karen E. (Henderson) Smith and she preceded him in death on April 14, 2021. He is survived by a son: Neal Smith of Hamburg; two daughters: Marian Wasitowski of Neshanic Station, NJ and Rebecca Klementovich and husband Daniel of Pleasantville; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother: Kenneth D. Smith widower of Patricia of Ringoes, NJ; two brothers-in-law: William Henderson of Trenton, NJ, and Walter Henderson and wife Marisa of Ewing, NJ; a sister-in-law: Susan Gould widow of Raymond of Langhorn; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Smith, a sister, Marian Smith, and a brother-in-law, Everett Henderson Jr.

Harvey was a Supervisor for Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line for 30 plus years before his retirement. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, hunting all game. He loved his hunting dogs, and took great pride in his grandchildren and spending time with them.
