Harry D. “Peck” Diehl, 90, of Everett, died on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at UPMC Bedford Hospital. He was born on May 31, 1935 in Schellsburg, a son of the late Albert L. and Edna May (Cornell) Diehl. On January 23, 1960 in Breezewood, he married Doris Jean (Price) Diehl and she survives along with a son, Patrick Clay Diehl and wife Michele of Dudley; and a grandson, Andrew David Diehl and girlfriend Chelsey of McConnellsburg and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Diehl, and four sisters: an infant sister, Ethel Feaster, Kathleen Sheirer, and Edith Laird, widower Bob who survives of Schellsburg.
Peck worked as a Machinist at Lane Metal until his retirement, and was a member of Kearney Union Church. He loved music and played various instruments but the mandolin was his favorite. He played mostly blue grass and enjoyed playing at his church and on camping trips.
Peck was very devoted to taking care of his wife, and visiting her daily at the nursing home. The family would like to thank their special church family, especially Jack and Joyce Uhland for their support through recent hard times by making sure not only Harry, but also his wife, Doris Jean were taken care of.
