Harold E. Snavely

Harold E. ”Gene” Snavely, 80 of Bedford, died, Saturday, February 28, 2009.  He was the son of the late David C. and Ruth (May) Snavely.  He is survived by a son Dennis W. Snavely of Manns Choice, a daughter Rebecca wife of Roger Griffin of Everett, two grandchildren:  Dawn Hammond and Douglas Snavely, both of Bedford and five great grandchildren.   He was preceded in death by wives, Vivian O’Neal on November 9, 1970 and Pauline Hillegas on July 9, 1998.  Funeral service will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received on Monday, March 2, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home Inc., in Bedford.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations may be made in Harold’s name to the New Paris United Methodist Church, P.O.
