H. Evelyn Porter 89 of Bedford, died Sunday, April 9, 2017. She was born on January 20, 1928, in Bedford, a daughter of the late Kenneth K. and Marian (Beegle) Shoemaker. She was preceded in death by her first husband William Porter, and then by her second husband William Koontz. She is survived by a son, Kenneth Porter and wife Joan, of Bedford; two grandchildren: Ginger Clark, and husband Daniel, and Ginnifer Johnson; three great-grandchildren: Andrew, Jared, Justin; and two brothers: John E. Shoemaker, and Jack F. Shoemaker, and wife Barbara, both of Bedford.
