Guy R. "Bob" Price, 76, of New Paris, died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 22, 1932 at Bedford, a son of the late Charles C. and Goldie M. (Robinette) Price. On May 27, 1978 in Fishertown, he married Mary V. Way who survives along with a daughter, Linda wife of Tracy Etter of Mechanicsburg, a son, Larry married to the former Nichole Glenny of Dauphin, five grandchildren: Jonathan, Alecia, Valerie, Samantha, and Melissa, two great grandchildren: RJ & Kory, four sisters, Mary Belle Shaffer of Everett, Shirley Margaret "Peg" Buck of Bedford, Helen Mae Crissey of Bedford, Mabel Grace Crum of Windber, and numerous nieces nephews.
Bob was of the protestant faith. He worked many jobs over the years, most recently with S&A Homes and the sewer authority. An excellent handyman, Bob owned and maintained several rental properties in the Bedford area. He loved to tell jokes, and had a passion for traveling and visiting with family and friends.
Funeral Services: Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with the Pastor Adam Kravets officiating. Friends will be received on Tuesday, 1 hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
