Dr. Graffious L. Rinard

Dr. Graffious L. Rinard, 100, of East John Street, Bedford, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 9, 1910, in Mt. Union, a son, of the late Howard L. and Lillian (Fox) Rinard. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy in 1971. On April 2, 1977 he married, Christine Berkstresser Lehman and she survives along with a step-daughter, Linda, wife of James Milliken of West Chester, two step-grandchildren Susan Milliken, wife of Michael Lord and Christine Milliken, two nieces, and two nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Clegg Rinard, one brother Paul and one sister Ruth Shaffer.
He was a member of Bedford Trinity Lutheran Church, Bedford County Medical Society and the American Medical Association. He was a General Practitioner in Bedford for over 50 years.
