Grace P. Ritchey

Grace P. Ritchey, 95, of Lincoln Highway, Bedford, died Monday, April 25, 2011 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.  She was born on August 28, 1915, in Snake Spring Twp. a daughter, of the late, Lloyd Stailey and Fannie (Snyder) Ritchey.  She is survived by many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by three sisters:  Delilah Baker, Ema Mae Ritchey, Mary Ritchey, and five brothers:  Blair, Sam, Lloyd, Roy and John "Jim" Ritchey.

She was a member and volunteer at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bedford.  She retired after 40 years from G.C. Murphy.  She was a member of the G.C. Murphy Veterans Club, the Ladies Auxiliary at the Bedford American Legion, and the Bedford Senior Citizens Group.  She babysat many children and enjoyed bowling.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011, at 3:00 p.m., in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, Inc., with the Rev. Raymond Short officiating.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.  Friends will be received on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 106 West Penn Street, Bedford, PA 15522 in her memory.
