Grace Cessna Easter, 86, of South Richard Street Bedford, Died on July 22, 2006 at Colonial Courtyard in Bedford. She was born September 23, 1919 in Bedford, a daughter of the late William and Ada (Rawlings) Wilson. On April 22,_________ in Augusta, Georgia she married Richard M. Easter, and he preceded her in death on May 18, 1982. She is survived by two daughters Deena wife of Glenn Thompson of Everett, Annette G. wife of William F. Popovich Jr. of Bedford, and one son Alan M. married to the former Jean Edel of Greensburg. Five grandchildren: Elisse & Karen Thompson, Elizabeth & Billy Popovich, and Richard Easter, 2 sisters, Norma Jean wife of Carl Fetter of Cessna and Doris Stine of Harrisburg also many close friends. She is preceded in death by four brothers: Francis, Bill, Bob, and Ben Wilson and one sister Eddrie Arnold.
Mrs. Easter was a member and former Sunday School teacher at St. John’s United Church of Christ. A graduate of Bedford High School Class of 1937, and a volunteer at the Pioneer Historical Society. She also enjoyed gardening and bird watching.
Funeral Services Monday at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with the Rev. Jeff Welsch officiating, Burial in Burning Bush Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Those wishing may make contributions to the Pioneer Historical Society Bedford Inc., 242 East John Street, Bedford, Pa. 15522.
