Gertrude L. Foor, 82, of East Pitt St., Bedford, died Thursday, October 15, 2009 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born July 14, 1927 in Huntingdon, daughter of the late George and Louise (Phipps) Hicklin. On May 19, 1945 in Cumberland, she married Harry E. Foor and he preceded her in death on September 23, 1983. She is survived by a daughter Robin M. wife of John E. Holbert of Bedford, four grandchildren: Terry, Torrie Ann, Tonya, and Rick and six great grandchildren, and a brother Frank Hicklin and wife Emma of Olean, NY. She was preceded in death by two daughters: Lennie Brown and infant Cathy Darlene, three sisters: Lilly, Violet, and Odessa, four brothers: Clifford, Arthur, Charles and Raymond Hicklin, husband of Phyllis of Melbourne, FL.
Mrs. Foor was affiliated with the Finleyville Church of God and was a member of the Bedford and Hopewell Senior Citizens.
Graveside services: Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at Rays Cove Cemetery, with Pastor Marion Foor officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford. Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
