Gerald H. Peck Jr., 76, of Everett, died on Friday, July 3, 2026 at his residence. He was born on May 28, 1950 in Chambersburg, a son of the late Gerald H. Peck Sr. and H. Lucille (Klenzing) Peck. On June 8, 1974 in Bedford, he married Miriam J. (Stiffler) Peck and she survives along with two sons: Matthew Peck and wife Heather of Morgantown, WV, and Jeremy Peck and wife Crystal of Morgantown, WV; three grandchildren: Isaac, Elina, and Daylynn; and a brother: Robert Peck of McConnellsburg. He was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Adams.

Gerald was a 1968 graduate of McConnellsburg High School, and later obtained his Bachelor’s degree at Shippensburg University in Elementary Education. He attended Trinity Lutheran Church. Throughout his career, he worked at many places, including Riverside Grocery Store, Family Services in Altoona, and Substitute Teaching at all of the local schools. He enjoyed collecting clowns, he loved music and his cats Smokey, Abby, and Meisha, and played the organ at St. Marks Lutheran Church.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Bedford County Memorial Park in Bedford with Rev. David Weinhold officiating. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in Gerald’s name may do so to the Bedford County Humane Society, 182 Bohn Road, Bedford, PA 15522.
