Georgia A. Fungaroli

Georgia Ann Fungaroli 90, of Pennknoll Village, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at the Nursing home. She was born February 2, 1919 in Keg, daughter of the late William and Francis (Mowry) Bowman. In 1940 in Winchester, VA, she married James R. Fungaroli and he preceded her in death on October 5, 1986. She is survived by four children: William J. Fungaroli of Mexico, Jeannette wife of Michael Mondy of Everett, Michael J. Fungaroli of Cumberland, MD and James N. Fungaroli of Nashville, TN. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a Step-Brother Paul Bowman.
Mrs. Fungaroli was a graduate of Stoney Creek High School and went on to Cosmetology School. She was co-owner along with her husband of the Townhouse Motel, Bedford Novelty Company and the Fort Bedford Inn.
Funeral Services: Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford. Burial in the Bedford Cemetery. Friends will be received on Thursday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
