His 32 years of dedication to Pennsylvania’s Hunter Education program was a testament to his commitment to the safety and education of our youth hunters.  He was also a member, trustee and elder of the Bedford Presbyterian Church.

Gary was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, trapping, and fishing. With his reliable friend and assistant Dan McGowan, Gary raised deer on his deer farm over the last 14 years.  He was a very skilled woodworker, making numerous pieces of furniture over the years.  Some of his most coveted times were beach vacation trips with family and friends to surf fish and hunt for seashells.  Gary was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many people.  He will be remembered for his dedication and love for his family and will be missed by all!
