Gary L. Strayer Iii

Gary L. Strayer III, 25, of New Paris, died Sunday, July 24, 2016, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on December 14, 1990, in Johnstown, a son of Gary L. Strayer Jr. of Windber, and Veronica M. (Harvey) McBreen and husband Charles of Harrisburg.  He is survived by a son, Jack Parker Strayer, and his mother, Lindsay Miller both of Bedford; a brother, Aaron Strayer, of Harrisburg, one step-brother, Matthew McBreen, one half-brother, Colby Bubb and one half-sister, Olivia McBreen all of Harrisburg, paternal grandparents, Gary and Agnes Strayer of New Paris; maternal grandparents, Lester and Wanda Harvey of Duncannon, an aunt, Jacqueline Strayer of Windber; two uncles, Steven Strayer of Cresson, Sam Harvey, of Duncannon, and many cousins.

Gary worked for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. He enjoyed music, hunting and fishing.

Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Timothy A.
