Gary A. Hughes

Gary A. Hughes, 73, of Buffalo Mills, died on Friday, November 29, 2019 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. He was born on January 27, 1946, in Johnson City, TN, a son of the late James M. and Dorothy Elizabeth (Williams) Hughes. On August 1, 1970  in Brentwood, MD, he married Lottie (Willison) Hughes who survives along with the following family: a son, Randy Engle of Philippi, WV; two daughters, Brenda Wright and husband Joe and Melissa Deneen and husband Derek all of Buffalo Mills, seven grandchildren:  Randy and Travis Engle, Chanda, Jesse, and Colton Minnick and Mariah and Kylee Deneen; three great-grandchildren:  Morgan, Bryson, and Kaydence; and one brother, James Hughes and wife Jo Marie of FL. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Hughes, and a sister, Barbara Hughes.

Gary worked as an electrician for Maryland Electric for many years.  He enjoyed building model cars that went way beyond a hobby.  He also enjoyed tinkering and fixing broken things.
