Galen E. Ake

Galen E. Ake, 81, of Everett, died on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home. He was born on December 27, 1942, in Bedford a son of the late Tolbert and Thelma (Bloom) Ake. He is survived by a son Galen Ake of Sugar Land, TX; a daughter Janey Decenzo of Denver, NC.  two sisters: Linda Koontz and husband Mike of New Enterprise; and Vicki Imler and husband Steve of Everett; four grandchildren:  Tyler, Chase, Madi and Galen; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by three brothers Howard, Sonny, and Gary Ake widow Dixie who survives of Fishertown; and also preceded in death by one sister Hannah Mae Harbour.

Galen served in the Army during Vietnam and worked for IPS Security. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
