Fredrick P. Suter

Fredrick Poorman Suter 81 of Davidson St., Bedford, died Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home.  He was born October 17, 1926 in Schellsburg, son of the late Walter and Florence (Poorman) Suter.  He was married to Mildred E. (Motto) Wyles and she preceded him in death on June 28, 2004.  He is survived by the following children: John A. Suter married to the former Linda Rose of New Paris, LouAnn wife of Timothy Lingenfelter of Spotsylvania, VA, Patrick Suter of Bedford, Pamela wife of Carl R. Feight of Everett, two step-children: Gail wife of Ernest Grubb of Bedford and Terry Wyles married to the former Dorothy Cornell of Everett. 12 grandchildren: Stacey, John, Joel, Dustin, Daniel, Nathaniel, Julianne, Natasha, Travis, Troy, Brandon and Melissa, four step-grandchildren: Valerie, Kevin, Tammy and Vickie, five great grandchildren: Robert, Amber, Nicholas, Allison and Alexis, three step-grandchildren: Heather, Hannah, Blair, three great great grandchildren.  Also surviving are two brothers: Joseph Suter and wife Nellie of Currysville and John Suter and wife Jean of Elyria, Ohio, one sister Maude King of Catonsville, MD.  He is also survived by his former wife Betty Burket Harclerode of Bedford.  He was preceded in death by three brothers: Samuel, Robert and Richard, husband of Elizabeth of Bedford and one sister Sara Jane Conwrath, an infant granddaughter and one step great granddaughter Jesse.

Mr. Suter retired in 1974 as a yardman for Eastern Express.  He was affiliated with the Bedford Village Assembly of God Church.

Funeral Services: Tuesday 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev. officiating.  Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park.  Friends will be received on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the funeral home. Our online guest book is available at wwwberkebilefuneralhome.com.
