Frank R. McKinley, 58 of S. Bedford St., Bedford, died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born October 4, 1950 in Bedford, son of the late Walter K. and Hulda (Browning) McKinley. He is survived by three sisters: Charlotte widow of Roy Thomas of Linthicum, MD, Lillian widow of Jerry Bornscheuer, Judy wife of Kenneth Wright, both of Bedford, two brothers: Fred McKinley married to the former Cynthia Beegle and Gregg McKinley widower of Dorothy Yingling, both of Bedford and ten nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Walter and a sister Barbara.
Frank worked a Kennametal for 37 years. He was a member of the Bedford County Sportsman’s Club, and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a l969 graduate of Bedford High School.
Funeral services: Friday, January 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home with Clarence Whetstone officiating. Burial in Bedford Cemetery. Friends will be received on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made the American Cancer Society, 3759 Business Route 220, Ste# 202, Bedford, PA 15522 in his memory.
