Floyd A. Cornell

Floyd Allen Cornell, 70, of Sunnyside Road Bedford, went to be with the lord on Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home.  He was born on October 26, 1932 in Monroe TWP, a son of the late William and Dora (Ritchey) Cornell, On November 17, 1956 in Bedford, he married Elsie Louise Weaverling, who survives along with the following family 2 sons, Michael A. married to the former Jennifer Sheeder of Bedford, Jeffrey S. married to the former Kris Logue of Bedford, and 1 daughter, Amy K. Cornell of Bedford.  4 grandsons Cody, Justin, Joshua, Michael, 2 step-granddaughters Jennifer & Annika all of Bedford, and a brother Frank married to the former Jay Karns of Victory, TX.   1 brother preceded him in death:  George Cornell.

He was a member of the St. John's Evangelist Catholic Church in Everett and was a 1953 Graduate of Everett High School.  Mr. Cornell retired after 22 years as a cook for the Arena Restaurant.

Funeral Mass:  Saturday, August 23, 2003, at 11:00 AM from the St. John’s Evangelist Catholic Church in Everett with the Father Norman P. Imgrund officiating.  Burial in St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, where a vigil service will be held at 8:00 PM.  Those wishing may make contributions to the St. John’s Evangelist Catholic Church, 161 East First Ave., Everett, Pa. 15537
