Fae L. Imler 93, of Bedford, died Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home. She was born on August 28, 1922, in Mt. Union a daughter of the late Harry and Edna (Wagner) McDonald. On November 15, 1947 in Duncansville she married David K. Imler who preceded her in death on January 2, 1989. She is survived by two sisters: Helen Heidelbach and husband Walter of Fayettville, and Kay Schon widow of James of Duncansville. She was preceded in death by a sister, June Fickes; and five brothers: Lloyd, Charles, Wilmer, Harry, and Paul McDonald.
Fae graduated from Claysburg High School in 1940, and then from Altoona School of Commerce in 1943. She worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg, and then retired from Kennametal. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Bedford Elks Lodge #1707 Ladies Auxiliary, and RSVP.
