Evelyn L. (Amick) Bohn

Evelyn L. Bohn, 86, of Manns Choice, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home. She was born on April 14, 1929, in Wilkinsburg, a daughter of the late Allen   and Thelma (O'Leary) Amick. On May 26, 1947, she married Lloyd C. Bohn and he preceded her in death on November 6, 1983.  She is survived by a daughter: Sharon Scollo and husband Tony, of Pittsburgh; a son, Stephen Bohn and wife Susan, of Manns Choice, a son, Thomas Bohn and wife Tammy, of Manns Choice; six grandchildren:  Parker Gindele and wife Natalie of Portland, OR, Shane Bohn of Bedford, Celeste and fiancé Don Reams of Hollidaysburg, Chad Bohn and wife Heather, of Camp Hill, Travis Bohn, of Buffalo Mills, Tiffany and husband Johnathan Brouse, of Bedford; nine great grandchildren:  Sierra, Cody, Addison, Ella, Gaige, Madelyn, Travis Jr., Emma , and Payton.  She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cheryl Bohn, a son, Roger Bohn, and a brother, James Amick.

Evelyn was a life member and sang in the choir at the Milligan’s Cove Christian Church.  She worked as a waitress and hostess at the White Sulpher Springs Hotel and she also worked with her husband at Cove Auto Sales, and with the election board in Buffalo Mills. She volunteered at the Harrison Manns Choice Elementary School.  She enjoyed baking pies, cookies, apple dumplings and going for walks and to the flea markets.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Tom Mowry officiating.  Burial at Milligan’s Cove Christian Church Cemetery.
