Elsie M. Fetter

December 9, 1933 — March 20, 2008

Elsie May Fetter, 74, of Pine Knob Road, Osterburg, died Thursday, March 20, 2008 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.  She was born on December 9, 1933 in New Paris, a daughter of the late Clark E. and Ruth V. (Diehl) Bloom. On June 6, 1953 in Winchester, VA, she married Watson Fetter who survives along with the following family, son, Greggory L. Fetter, of Osterburg, son, Jeffrey L. Fetter, of Osterburg, a daughter, Susan K. wife of Thomas Fleegle of Osterburg, eight grandchildren:  Julie, Lindy Jo, Jill, Elizabeth, Cody, Joseph,  Thomas and Tanner, two great grandchildren:  Shane and Alexa, and a sister, Shirley Earley and husband Donald of New Paris. She was preceded in death by one son:  Joseph C. Fetter.

She was a member of the St. John’s Christian Church in Cessna. She retired after 27 years from Hedstrom.  She was very active in her church and was loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Funeral Services on Saturday, March 22, 2008, at 11:00 AM from the St. John's Christian Church in Cessna, with the Pastor Eric Larson officiating. Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park.  Friends will be received on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM, at the Timothy A.
