Elizabeth R. (Tope) Messer

Elizabeth R. Messer 74, of Bedford, died Saturday, January 13, 2024.  She was born on July 30, 1949 in Portsmouth, OH a daughter of Homer and Glendora Sheward.  She is survived by her husband William Messer; two sons: Travis Martin and wife Lisa, of Fishertown, and Trent Martin and wife Dawn, of Bedford; six grandchildren: Alex Wolf, Madison, Bailey, Samuel, Abigail, and Alicia Martin; and six great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a brother Greg Tope.

Elizabeth loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, her animals, and keeping her house clean.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m, in the Chapel, at the Timothy A.
